 Ron Daugherty
President & CEO
Ron Daugherty is President and CEO of Daugherty Systems, which he founded in 1985 with his wife Jan Daugherty. Under Ron's leadership, the Daugherty Business Solutions division has become a leading provider of solutions in the area of business intelligence, management consulting, ERP implementations, mobile computing, sales force effectiveness and new technology custom application development for major corporations. Ron personally started the Daugherty Business Solutions branch offices and development centers in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and St. Louis with Daugherty now employing nearly 500 IT professionals. Ron also managed the growth of the Daugherty Mobile Solutions division. Daugherty Mobile Solutions currently has a staff of over 70 professionals providing advanced mobile selling solutions and implementing over 20,000 sales routes. Today, Ron devotes much of his time to meetings with senior business executives discussing his vision for achieving business results through technology and helping build Business/IT partnerships. He has presented to a number of groups on topics including Strategic Planning, Leadership, and encouraging young people to pursue technology careers. Before starting Daugherty Systems, Ron worked as a Systems Analyst for McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing), Monsanto and Emerson Electric Company. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas - Jonesboro and did graduate work in applied automation at the University of Missouri - Columbia. A former Golden Gloves amateur boxing champion, Ron's current hobbies include blues harmonica, fencing and equestrian sports.

Jan Daugherty
Executive Vice President
Jan Daugherty is Executive Vice President and co-founder of Daugherty Systems. Jan headed the Daugherty Mobile Solutions division for much of her early career, and she also managed and taught classes for the Daugherty Training Division. Today, Jan focuses on the second half of the Daugherty Difference – creating exceptional value for our employees. She manages corporate-wide strategy for performance management, recruiting and inter-branch communication. Prior to starting Daugherty, Jan was a software developer for Emerson Electric and McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing). Jan is a certified PMP, has an MBA from Maryville University in St. Louis and a B.A in Economics from Knox College in Illinois. Her hobbies include running, horseback riding and writing.

Dave Hoyt
Corporate Vice President of Strategy and
Solution Delivery

Dave Hoyt is Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Solution Delivery for Daugherty Business Solutions. In this role, Dave provides leadership to the overall services delivery organization at Daugherty. Dave is ultimately responsible for positioning the right services, quality of the delivery of those services, identifying, and adding new capabilities to the organization. After working with McDonnell-Douglas and Anheuser-Busch, Dave worked for Accenture for 13 years. As an Associate Partner, Dave worked with retail, consumer products and Federal government clients. Prior to moving into his current Daugherty role, Dave managed the St. Louis operation, Daugherty's largest business unit, for 5 years. Dave also managed Daugherty's software product company in some of the early transition phases. Dave's background includes a significant amount of technology solution delivery with strategy and executive management consulting. His career began with technology development and delivery experience at companies like McDonnell-Douglas, Anheuser-Busch, Bunge, Caterpillar, Ralston Purina, Sears and The Limited. During his career he  helped companies with risk assessment and the successful, effective completion of very large, high-risk initiatives. Also, Dave has provided the primarily leadership behind business/IT strategy initiatives for several Fortune 500 organizations. Dave received his bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from St. Louis University and teaches The Business - IT Partnership class at Washington University’s CAIT. Over the past five years, Dave has played a central role in Daugherty's Mobile Computing practice.

John Wirth
Corporate Sales Manager
John is responsible for working with the Business Unit Managers in each of Daugherty’s regions to ensure we achieve our financial goals while building sustainable local leadership teams. He is a versatile leader across all functions (sales, delivery, recruiting) of our business and has a strong track record of “leading and teaching” others while identifying and promoting top leadership talent to key roles in the company. John also works with the Sales Managers in each region to ensure we’re proactively leveraging all of Daugherty’s Management Consulting and Project Service capabilities to bring value to our clients while creating great career opportunities for our employees. John joined Daugherty in 2001 as a Senior Account Manager and was very effective in leveraging the full Daugherty Model to open new accounts and grow existing ones, often competing against and winning work from the national firms. He was promoted to run the Enterprise Solutions Group Business Unit and built a dominate St. Louis team that helped shape our Line of Service approach. John then ran our St. Louis Business Unit for 3 years and achieved the strongest financial results in the company history while adjusting our mix of business and capabilities to effectively serve our clients in the St. Louis market and bring employee morale to a high level. John established a leadership team that could continue growing the business while he moved on to his current role. Before joining Daugherty, John was the North American Business Development Manager for the software and systems integration company Orsi-Hilco, which specialized in providing advanced planning, scheduling, manufacturing execution systems to the food and beverage, automotive and metals industries. John received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University. Outside of Daugherty John is involved in helping his children achieve their goals in education, golf, soccer and competitive auto racing.

Mike Garofalo
Chief Financial Officer
Mike Garofalo is Chief Financial Officer for Daugherty Systems joining the company in its early stages in 1989 as the first accounting/financial employee of the organization. Mike is responsible for direction and oversight for all aspects of the company’s financial/accounting operations, internal IT infrastructure, contracts review, legal liaison and benefits/risk management. Mike manages the external relationships with the company’s bank, legal counsel, and insurance brokers for property & casualty coverage and health & benefit plans. Mike’s career began in public accounting with Arthur Andersen & Co. in St. Louis. Mike’s background was primarily working in the Small Business practice division allowing exposure to both audit and tax for clients such as Rawlings Sporting Goods, Famous-Barr (division of May Co.), and Cencom Cable (a predecessor of Charter Communications). After public accounting, he worked as a Controller for a local textile company prior to joining Daugherty Systems. Mike received his B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He also earned his CPA certificate shortly after graduation. Mike’s hobbies include hunting and being an active Mizzou Alumni.
